The Nigeria Police Academy (NPA), popularly referred to as POLAC, is a federal university located in Wudil, Kano State, Nigeria.
The Nigeria Police Academy was upgraded to a degree-awarding tertiary institution in September 2012, with the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC). The NUC recognized the institution as the thirty-seventh (37th) federal university in Nigeria. Below is the list of Courses offered in POLAC and their subject combination.

Aims and Objectives of establishing the Police Academy
The aims and objectives of establishing the Police academy are:
- The goal is to establish a tertiary institution that can produce skilled personnel, particularly at the ASP and Inspectorate levels, to meet the mid-level manpower needs of the Nigeria Police Force.
- To provide trainees with the skills, knowledge, and strong moral values needed for effective law enforcement and dedicated service to the country.
