# DELSU Announces Inter and Intra-University Transfer Forms for 2026/2027 Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced the availability of application forms for inter-university transfers, intra-university transfers and the processing of withdrawal cases for the 2026/2027 academic session. The announcement was contained in the university's official bulletin dated Wednesday, 21 October 2026. Interested students and candidates can apply for the relevant category through the university's designated online application portal. According to the announcement, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 to obtain the prescribed form. Candidates whose transfer applications are successful will also be required to pay the transfer fees stipulated by the university. The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, 3 November 2026. Applicants are expected to complete the online process and report to the university's Admissions Office for further processing. ## DELSU Transfer Forms for 2026/2027 The university has made the following application categories available for the 2026/2027 academic session: - **Inter-university transfer:** For candidates seeking to transfer from another university to DELSU. - **Intra-university transfer:** For existing DELSU students seeking an approved change of faculty, department or programme. - **Withdrawal cases:** For students who need to process their withdrawal through the university's prescribed procedure. Applicants should select the appropriate category and ensure that they meet the requirements applicable to their circumstances. ## DELSU Transfer Application Fee The application fee for the inter-university transfer, intra-university transfer and withdrawal application forms is ₦20,000. The fee is non-refundable, meaning applicants should carefully review the relevant application instructions before making payment. Successful transfer applicants will also be required to pay the prescribed transfer fees. The ₦20,000 application fee should therefore not be confused with the additional charges that may apply after a transfer has been approved. Applicants should confirm the applicable payment instructions through the university's designated application portal before proceeding. ## How to Apply for DELSU Inter and Intra-University Transfer Forms Interested candidates and students should follow these steps to begin their applications for the 2026/2027 academic session: 1. Visit the designated DELSU transfer application portal. 2. Select the appropriate category, whether inter-university transfer, intra-university transfer or withdrawal processing. 3. Create the required login details or sign in if an account has already been created. 4. Complete the online application form with accurate personal, academic and other requested information. 5. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 through the approved payment procedure. 6. Review the information supplied and submit the application. 7. After completing the online application, report to the university's Admissions Office for further processing. Applicants should keep their application details and evidence of payment. They should also ensure that they follow any additional instructions issued by the Admissions Office. ## DELSU Transfer Application Deadline for 2026/2027 The deadline for submitting applications for inter-university transfers, intra-university transfers and withdrawal cases is **Tuesday, 3 November 2026**. Interested candidates and students should complete their online applications before the closing date. They should also allow enough time to visit the Admissions Office as required. Applicants are advised not to wait until the final day to begin the process, particularly if they need assistance with their application or payment. ## Important Information for Applicants Completing the online application does not necessarily mean that a transfer has been approved. Applicants must follow the university's prescribed procedures and wait for the relevant decision. Candidates seeking to transfer from another institution should ensure that their academic records and other required documents are available when requested. Existing DELSU students applying for changes within the university should provide accurate matriculation and programme details. Students processing withdrawal cases should also follow the relevant instructions from the university rather than assuming that completing the online form automatically concludes the process. ## Conclusion DELSU has opened applications for inter-university transfers, intra-university transfers and withdrawal cases for the 2026/2027 academic session. The application fee is ₦20,000 and is non-refundable. Successful transfer applicants will be required to pay the additional transfer fees prescribed by the university. The application deadline is Tuesday, 3 November 2026. Interested candidates and students should complete the relevant online form and report to the Admissions Office for further processing before the deadline.
