The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) open distance learning (ODL) programme is focused on providing high-quality education with international standards in a setting that is flexible and open to all.
This programme is for students who want to earn a university degree but don’t want to attend regular classes and stay on campus.
This initiative was brought about because of working professionals who still want to study while still working.
LAUTECH’s Distance Learning Programme uses modern technology to deliver lectures, course materials, and assessments online.
The Distance Learning Programme aligns with the university’s mission to make tertiary education more accessible, inclusive, and adaptable to all.

How to apply for the LAUTECH Open Distance Learning (LODL) programme
Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into LAUTECH’s Open Distance Learning (ODL) Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in the Open and Distance Learning Centre of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
Candidates who participated in the recently conducted UTME examination and scored 180 and above may also be considered for admission irrespective of their choice of institution.
Computer proficiency training and tests will be conducted for all applicants.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
- Visit the LODL portal via the link below https://eportal.lautech.edu.ng/applicant/ODL
- Click on enrol and fill out the form, providing details like your full name, phone number and email address.
- You will be redirected to a place where you would need to pay the sum of ₦15,000.00 plus charges for the admission form.
- In completing the online application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned passport photograph with a white background showing ears, no cap and no glasses.
- The scanned passport photograph must be in JPEG format (i.e., JPG) and must not be more than 20 KB. On submission of the application form, candidates are to print out the Referee Form.
