Admission Requirements for University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital School of Nursing
Below are the requirements each candidate must meet before being eligible to apply for University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital School of Nursing programmes.
- Applicants must possess at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from either WASC/NECO, taken at not more than two sittings.
- NABTEB qualifications are also accepted but must not be combined with WASSCE or NECO certificates.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of applying.
- Applicants must have no deformities of the hands.
- A clean criminal record is also required.
- For post-basic programmes, a current practising licence as a registered nurse in Nigeria and a certificate in general nursing are required.

- Visit the UITH Application Portal with the link below: https://www.uithilorin.org.ng/nursing
- Pay the ₦10,000 fee via REMITA by following the instructions provided on the portal.
- After payment, return to the portal to fill out the online SON FORM using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
- Make sure to enter a valid email address during registration.
- Upload all necessary documents, including three referees’ letters on letter headed paper and the sponsor’s signature.
Note: The application form can only be obtained by making a payment of ₦10,000 through REMITA.
How To Submit UITH Application Form
Once the form is downloaded from the UITH website, ensure you complete it properly.
You will need to submit the completed form along with two clear passport photographs and photocopies of relevant credentials.
Submit all documents to the College Secretary, Schools Complex, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Note: You will be communicated with on the date for the CBT examination and interview.

The school does not accept awaiting results during the interview.
You are expected to bring your O’level result, birth certificate, and declaration of age to the interview.
You must come to the C.B.T. Centre with your application form printout and writing materials.
